A lot of people fall for diet fads. I’ll hold my hands up and say me included.
I struggled for years with my weight, and was on the lookout for a quick fix guide to help me lose weight quickly. I didn’t even care about losing weight *safely*.
I had lost self esteem, and I was finding things tough. I bought diet book after diet book. I bought pills, berries and programs. I was desperate. I always believed that the ‘secret’ was just around the corner.

There are a lot of substitutions to be made, but the information is plentiful, guiding you along the way. It’s a little overwhelming to look at (it’s nearly 650 pages long!), but don’t let that put you off. You’re serious about losing weight, right? Start from the beginning. Don’t think of it as a 650 page book – take each stage at a time and you will see the benefits.
I’ve got this book, and I’ve read a huge chunk of it. You will soon use your own common sense, and find that rather than following this book and digesting it all, you will just dip into it occasionally as and when you need to find a great recipe.
It includes some delicious desserts too to satisfy the sweet tooth in you, but it does rely on using Stevia. While some people aren’t so keen on Stevia, I use it and you really get used to it after a week or so.
But remember what I said about the mindset behind a successful weight loss plan? This book contains it all (hence it’s length). It contains a ‘Life Advice’ guide to ensure you have all of the support you need to achieve your weight loss goals, with topics such as balancing your hormones, and exercise.
What Serene and Pearl have done (and I must say, successfully), is remove the need for buying lots of different books with multiple opinions and ideas, but rather have a single resource for everything you need to know about living a healthy life.

Why read only snippets of dietary truth from many books when you can get the full understanding in one book?
